Adhesys Medical Announces Collaboration with the German Accelerator Life Sciences to Strengthen its U.S. Market Presence

 –Development of Topical Skin Adhesive CUTIS Reaches Milestone with CE Mark Filing in Europe–

Cambridge, Massachusetts and Aachen, Germany, March 14, 2017 – Adhesys Medical, a medical device company developing the next generation of surgical adhesives, announced today its acceptance into the German Accelerator Life Sciences (GALS) program, an initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). As part of the program, Adhesys will expand its presence in the United States to include a second location in Cambridge, MA and gain access to GALS’ resources, including a network of partners and advisors to support Adhesys as they bring their innovative wound sealants to the U.S. market. In addition, the company has filed for the CE mark in Europe for its product CUTIS, a topical skin adhesive that has the potential to transform wound care.
